Georgia W. Kimball was established in 1985 and we were referred to as a neighborhood school.  We were designed to stay small and be tightly connected to the community around us.  Mrs. Kimball, who the school is named after, served on the Mesquite ISD School Board from 1961-1970.  She was very involved in education and served on the Texas State Association of Parliamentarians and the National Association of Parliamentarians as an officer and president.  You may have heard our motto Small But Mighty.  We adopted this for our school because Kimball is the smallest elementary school in the district with 215 students and 30 teachers.  We may be small but we produce some of the largest results.  We are a high performing campus and our students and staff are dedicated to serving our community.
